IC/CPPS microbiome summary and updates from 2016

I am going to post a link to a 6 month old article from 2016 on IC network. It summarizes the new studies and critical information they are finding out about the relation of the gut microbiome and IC/CPPS. Basically IC patients lack are deficient in certain amount of good bacteria they term (DIPP) and have increased levels of potentially bad bacteria they term (IIPP). Like I said the specifics are in the article but it is a must read and it certainly looks like it could be useful for our wonderful Australian doctors down under
